Mat Cha

Authentic Mat Cha is only from shaded tea bushes in Japan that have been first made into Ten Cha. Part of Japanese culture and history, the finely ground bright green powder is used in the Japanese tea ceremony. The flavor is rich and lightly sweet and has a creamy mouth-feel. From Yame in Southern Japan, known for their shaded teas. In Japan tea is given the honorable name "O-Cha".
