Pu Er tea is renowned in China for its digestive-aid properties. With a high concentration of precious golden buds, this robust Shu (ripened) Pu Er tea is compressed into the classic 357 gram, 7 in. diameter cake (bing). Rich and round with a sweet, malty, earthy flavor this cake has quickly become one of our favorites. A special recipe from the Liming tea factory, the cakes are made from buds and leaves harvested in the spring and summer of 2011, from 100 year old trees in Menghai, Yunnan.
