Darjeeling - Jethikupi

The first harvest of the season from the famous tea gardens of Darjeeling, India. This elegantly flavorful 1st flush Darjeeling is from the Rohini estate, consisting of finely picked buds and leaf sets. Floral and perfumy. Jethikupi means Elder Daughter in the local language, the name given by estate owner Shiv Saria. Plucked on February 11th from pure, 25 year old BB157 cultivars known for early flushing.
