Offered as tribute to the Chinese emperors for a millennium, these authentic, very fragrant, fluffy "Green Snail Spring" buds and leaves come from East Hill near Suzhou, China. The olive-green leaves uncurl into a rich jade green. The aroma is refreshing and the mild taste has hints of honeydew melon. Also one of the best teas for health, true Bi Luo Chun (aka Pi Lo Chun) is only harvested for a few weeks in early spring.
Brewing: 1.5 tsp, 170 deg, 2 min, 3 infusions.
