Premium ceremonial grade of powdered green tea used in the traditional Cha-no-yu tea ceremony. From the historic tea production area of Uji, this exceptional tea is made of tender, hand selected leaves of the Hikari cultivar which were shaded for 3 weeks before plucking. First undergoing the Ten Cha processing method then ground with a granite stone mill, the brilliant, bright green powder offers a creamy texture, smooth taste with light sweet notes.

Brewing: .5 tsp, 160 deg, whisk into a froth.
